HIV/AIDS PREVENTIVE MEASURES
There are limited number of innervations of reducing sexual transmission of HIV/AIDS. AIDS is proved to be inversely to development especially in un educated and backward communities. but, what must we do to these communities? its every ones role to fight against AIDS. However, here are some of the free tips for you to follow in the prevention of HIV/AIDS in your community.
· Use of Condoms. Male and Female condoms are the only reliable barrier method. Therefore you need to make use of condoms in order to prevent yourself from AIDS and un planned pregnancies.
· Sharp Instruments. A void using sharp instruments with the affected persons. You may be at risk of acquiring the disease.
· Kissing. A void kissing more than five times unless your 100% sure that your partner is HIV/AIDS free. Otherwise you will be risking your life.
· Use of Gloves. Don’t risk to rush in a rescue of victims in car accidents or Handling HIV/AIDS victims without putting on gloves.
· Counseling and Testing. Voluntary counseling and testing is very important to enable people to make discussions about their behaviors based upon accuracy of their sexual partners or HIV status. Therefore, this is to encourage every one to know his/her HIV status by visiting their nearest health centers. Knowing your HIV status will help you plan for the future.
Abstinence. This is proved the best way of keeping safe from contracting HIV/AIDS. It is advised for one to keep away from sex (obtain from sex completely) until one decides to marry which will put your life to safe side. Remember before you marry know your HIV status and your partner first. Obtain from sex and live longer. If you can not, please do not forget to use a condom. Remember condoms are not 100% safe unless correctly used.
NOTE: Prevention is better than cure. Remember AIDS kills and does not cure. Protect from AIDS and boost development.
BE AWARE OF HIV/AIDS
HIV/AIDS The virus that causes AIDS was discovered in 1984 and was named Human Immunodeficiency Virus or HIV. HIV is a retrovirus or virus whose genetic information is contained in RNA. Once HIV enters the body, it attaches the receptors on the surface of the helper T- cells. These cells are so named because they help other lymphocytes respond to early stages of an infection.
